I offer two different mindfulness course, and 1:2:1 sessions.

The eight-week MBSR course and eight-week MBSR Parents course.  Please contact me for individual courses (in person or distance learning) or for a workshop or course in your workplace or school.

Eight-Week MBSR Course 

On this  course you will learn:

  • Meditation and movement practices that will help train your attention and increase awareness of your thinking and behaviour patterns
  • Simple neuroscience
  • How stress affects the nervous system and its impact on our bodies and minds
  • To identify the early signs of stress
  • Strategies to use in stressful situations
  • How to bring mindfulness into everyday life

All participants receive a course booklet and audio as well as an orientation session by phone.

Eight-Week Mindfulness for Parents (MBSR) course

Our ability to be calm influences not only our own wellbeing but also the wellbeing and happiness of our children.

On this course you will learn:

  • Mindfulness skills to help you stay calm and present
  • Explore the neuroscience of the child and adolescent brains
  • Child-friendly mindfulness ideas and practical resources for introducing it to your family
  • Practical and creative ways to communicate with your family

All participants receive a course booklet and audio as well as a booklet with ideas for integrating mindfulness into family life.
